One Stortz professional right-handed or left-handed slate hammer (Model 83-B or 83-C). Forged of high-quality tool steel and made in Germany. An all-leather handle. 25.4 oz. (720 grams), the face is 3/4" X 7/8", the tool is 12.75" long, 8.5" head.

One Stortz professional slate ripper Model 84-A, the best all-around slate ripper. Made in the USA. The Stortz 100-A Slate Ripper has a reinforced handle to allow for harder hammer strikes. The extra weight in the handle sometimes allows for pulling out the nails with only a jerk of the arm and not a hammer strike.  

One Stortz professional straight slater's stake (Model 85A): 20" long blade, 2.2 lbs., 1.25" X 1/4" bar stock. Made in the USA.

Stortz professional slate cutter (Model 95-FB): 25" long, 5 lbs., 4" blade length, replaceable hole punch. Also cuts asbestos and mineral fiber shingles (not suitable for ceramic tiles). Made in the USA, or the Stortz (Model 95-A) slate cutter, 25 inches long, 5 pounds, with a 4-inch blade length. Excellent ”bite” on the toughest slate varieties up to 3/8-inch thick. Now with a fortified handle where you hit it with a hammer to punch slates. You can also mount this cutter on a board.
